Any opinions on my first build appreciated. I've already brought the cpu and gpu. Will I need some sort of cpu cooler?

Thanks in advance

you are losing out some performance with the stock cooler.

It's better you buy an aftermarket cooler

Thanks for the recommendations. It notes on pcpartpicker 'The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the ASRock B550M Phantom Gaming 4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard.' so will the cooler not fit?

Yes, old hyper 212 doesn't support AM4, but newer one does.

I don't know why the notes appear when it obviously written in the specs:

I can swear for it, it's the best bang for the buck.

Ok thanks, I will get the hyper 212 evo then, looks great value. With the SSD could I get a Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive and Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive so I get 2.5TB of storage for around £100 rather than Western Digital Blue SN550 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive for around the same price or is better for performance to get a larger NVME SSD?
