Advice for New Build

Kajino
Budget: USD 1,700, if possible USD 1,500
Country: United States
Games, programs, or workloads: Chrome (20 tabs), Osu!, Warframe, Rocket League, Final Fantasy 14
Other details: Dual Monitor (1080p at 60hz + 1440p at 144hz), Gaming + Web Browsing / Streaming Videos
AestheticsInvalid, I don't care and don't want to pay more to make it look better.
Upgrades + MaintenanceI'm planning to make it and not touch it. I will take care of it and dusk out the case but don't want to tinker with it in the near future.

My most demanding tasks are running games on my 1440p 144hz monitor at medium settings while also watching videos on my 1080p 60hz monitor. Besides gaming want to be able to run Chrome (20 tabs), VSCode, and Discord. I'm planning to overclock to get the most performance and don't want to worry about temps or power issues.

I'm new to builds so if the performance I described above would cost over $1,700 then let me know what kind of performance I could get at that price.

Component Questions:
CPU - 3700x or 5600x for dual monitor gaming + multitasking? Does the 8 vs 6 cores make a difference? Is the 5600x better for "future-proofing"?
Cooler - Is an NH-D14 overkill? Can I get a Gammax 4000 for $25 instead without worrying about temps? Liquid required a lot of maintenance which I'm not looking for.
Mobo - I'm thinking B550 because I only want 1 SSD and PCIe Gen 4. Wi-Fi is a must-have because I don't have ethernet to connect. Pretty confident on board but if I can make a price cut for minimal performance loss that would be a plus.
Memory - DR4-3600 CL16 seems like a no brainer. Chose the Ballistix because it was the cheapest. Do I need the 32GBs or is 16 enough?
Storage - I'm not sure if 2TB is needed. I can't upgrade with another 1TB stick so thought getting 2 now would be safer, especially because of the B550.
Video - Not really sure about this. Is the 3070 overkill of my usage? Is the FE a good enough card or should I pay more for an aftermarket?
Case - Airflow focused, also don't want to buy more fans. Saw the out-of-box of Lancool 215 was good from gamers nexus and it was on the cheaper end.
PSU - Used the Linus PSU Tier list. Thinking 750W to avoid having to replace in future and this was the cheapest highest tier option.

I know there is a lot but any insight would greatly help. Also not planning to build until prices drop so if there are upcoming releases or sales please let me know.

Thanks for the help.

just giving you an idea of what a 3700x build might look like, also that was my suggestion for case. Mesh front comes with 4 fans. the x470 board was 1 dollar more expensive than a b450 a pro max, which is what i usually reccomend if you dont need pcie gen 4. included the 3060ti because it was in stock, but its the same price as msrp 3070 i think

Thanks for the reply,

Didn't know about that Windows workaround good to know I don't gotta waste 100 bucks.

Any reason your going 3700x vs 5600x? I saw UserBenchmark: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X vs 7 3700X and with 5600x having better pref at same price.

Also, is my 750W enough. I don't want to get another PSU and don't know if it will be enough for next build in the far future.
