so i was watching linuses intel ssd stream a day or 2 ago and he said how important it is to backup stuff. i do have a backup drive but i also do youtube, my youtube and all my media and everything goes on a wd black 1TB drive while i have an ssd for programs. i only backup my media onto my 1TB wd passport drive while i dont backup my youtube(which is way more important) ever since the stream i backed up my youtube rather than saving enough for a NAS system i was going to use for youtube archives. my question is. how long have your WD black hdds been serving you. i got my WD black when the 1TB model first came out back in 2008.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Haven't had any issues with wd black drives, really haven't had issues with any hard drives (yet hope it never happens lol). My first WD drive is still running after 8 years.

i guess im in good hands and can hold off on a NAS
