This is just to see what y'all think about my PC. I just updated all of the parts. Originally I had an issue with a fried CPU. Then j found out the not only the CPU, but also the RAM and MB were fried too. This was due to a lack of proper cooling. I was using integrated graphics, but one of my friends sold me their GPU when i started the update. Lastly, after the update, I found out the the PSU was not strong enough to power all of the new hardware due to it being so old and the capacitors being weak. If I knew at the beginning that i was going to be building a brand new PC regardless, I probably would've gotten closer to current spec. However, since I started by buying a CPU that fit my old config, I ended up building the PC based on that choice as I found each new part that was fried.

Unfortunately, I do not have an original picture. I transferred my photos to an SD card without backing them up and they all got corrupted. However, I will list the original parts.

Original Parts (Pre-Upgrade):

CPU: i7-6700K w/ integrated graphics

MB: ASRock Z170 Fatal1ty Gaming K6+

CASE: Unknown, Generic mid tower.

RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200Mhz 32GB

CPU Cooler: DeepCool Air Cooler, unsure of exact model

PSU: Rosewill Xtreme RX850-D-B 850W

SSD: Samsung 840 Series 250GB

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB

OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (Father is a developer with access to all previous and current windows OS .iso files and product keys.)

New Hardware:

CPU: i7-7700K

MB: MSI Z270 PC MATE

CASE: Cougar Panzer Max Ultimate Full Tower

RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2400Mhz 32GB

CPU Cooler: Unchanged (For Now)

PSU: Cougar GX 1050W

SSDs: Original, Added SK Hynix Gold 1TB

HDD: Original

OS: Original

GPU: MSI GeForce 1080 Gaming X 8GB

I have a couple pics. I also added some cheap RGB fans from Amazon. They are run off of a controller with a remote, not aRGB. In total there are 7 case fans, the 2 GPU fans, CPU fan, and PSU fans cooling the system. Running the MSI OC scan and the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress tests has yielded a max temp of 75°C on the GPU and 70°C on the CPU. I also have added a Sony Blueray Drive that I harvested from an old HP Z800 Workstation. The last item in the second 5.25" bay is a hot swap bay for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives with 2 USB 3.0 ports that I use for data backup. The last card you see in the PCIe slots is a TP-Link Archer 6.0 Network card for Wifi conversion purposes. Hope y'all enjoy taking a look at my build. I had a blast with it and it runs circles around anything I've ever had, being that the newest dedicated GPU I have owned was a GeForce 220.

P.S. Sorry about the slight messy carpet. I work on Caterpillar equipment for a living and my boots don't tend to stay the cleanest.

First:
YES! Optical drive!
Any system with an optical drive gets at least an B+ automatically.

The 1050 watt PSU seems a bit overkill, but ok.

GTX 1080 looks cool.
Overall review:
A.

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.
