Seeing as the fans are not spinning, it looks good to me. My 3080 is idling at 30°C, but that's because of water cooling. Yours looks good for a "passive" air cooler.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Yeah the fan curve is set to default. So I assume once the temp hits 60, the fans spool up. Not sure if my fans is causing any idle issues. I did switch up my case fans to RGB... but left my Noctua fans on the bottom blowing up to the card. I'll post a pic to show.

Since it get's enough cooling from the case fans at idle, it can stop the GPU fans. That's normal. When it's under load the fans will kick in.

Idle temps are irrelevant, so most cards just stop fans when not under load.

The bottom is my Noctua fans 3000rpm and the RGB is the Corsair QL140 1250rpm. Maybe I should increase the bottom Noctua fans to blow faster? To help cool the card without it spinning the fans? I dunno lol

Are your case fans running at 3000RPM all the time? That would be deafening.

Your temps are great as-is. I wouldn't change anything.

And if you want lower temps, just adjust the fan curve to not stop the fans at idle and make them spin at 20% or so.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

No no lol I got them at 1600 rpm. 3000 rpm sounds like a damn airplane lmao. Sometimes the GPU idles at 55. Not sure why it's at 57 right now. Maybe there is still warm air in the case lol

Just nvm these temps. I'd be comfortable with anything at 60 or lower for idle.

Even at 1000RPM noctua fans are just too loud for me lol. I keep my NF-A12x25's idling at 500RPM and slowly climbing to 1000 when the water temp rises. Just shows how different the tastes and preferences are i guess. :D

I know when CPU idles real high in the 60s, that'll reduce the life to it.

That's just incorrect.

Is it incorrect? I remember hearing about this many years ago. Whats the max temp for CPU's to be idling at before they start to degrade?

Lmao... To be honest, my 3 Noctua fans at 1600 RPM I can't really hear them. Maybe it's because my case has some sort of sound dampening? Not sure lol. The 6 Corsair QL140 fans at 1250rpm... makes me feel like they're not doing anything lolll.

Maybe you just have a much higher noise floor than me. But i also have open-backed headphones, so i basically hear everything as if i'm not weaing any at all.

As long as it's under the max temp spec it's fine.
