Even if this works, the result will be that the USB-C port on the case runs at USB2 speeds, which is pretty pointless.

 

Let's set our sights a little higher. @Nh4x4trackerGet a PCIe card with a header for the USB-C cable like this one: https://www.moddiy.com/products/USB-3.1-Gen2-Front-Type-E-Header-10Gbps-PCIE-2X-Add-On-Expansion-Card.html

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Sure, at USB2 speeds. Since fast charging phones is one of the few actual use-cases for USB-C right now (er, ahem, pardon me, USB 3.2 Gen 2, until they rename it again), we may as well try to actually get it to do that.
