gpu upgrade

I am planning on upgrading my gpu later this year once prices go down and gpus are actually in stock. I am thinking on upgrading my rx 580 to a 3060 ti or a 5700 xt or maybe an older 20 series card. What will be the best option for longevity?

I'd recommend a 3060 TI, especially if your considering it vs. a 5700 XT as they are the same MSRP and the 3060 TI (matching 2080 super performance) has much greater performance, this applies for longevity too as the 3060ti is the newest piece of hardware you listed. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a 20 series GPU unless you are in dire need of one ASAP as I believe they're still selling for original prices.
