Microsoft Flight Simulator - Graphics Problems

I have recently re-installed MSFS 2020 on my system after upgrading to an RTX 3060ti from an RX580.

With the new card I notice the graphics, and particularly the text and straight lines look very blocky and suboptimal.

I have tried having the settings on High and Ultra presets at 4k resolution and I don't notice much difference, it might look slightly worse on High settings.

I get the same blocky text and lines in all the menus and loading screens.

When I install my RX580 in the same system, things look a lot better, just at a lower frame rate. See the cropped screenshots below.

System specs: Ryzen 3 3300X, RTX 3060ti, 16GB of ram. No overclocks at present.

One thing that's slightly different to normal, the game is installed on an iscsi virtual drive hosted on my freenas system running over 10GbE, I'm pretty certain this doesn't have anything to do with my graphics issues though.

Any ideas what the cause could be? I suspect something is wrong with my 3060ti but I dont have the same issues in other games that Ive noticed, I've tried Crysis Remastered.

Looks like you're at a way lower resolution on the new card and also without AA...

Or render resolution lower than display resolution...

Figured it out, I tried changing the resolution to 1080p and it looked good.

Then I realised that windows had decided to change the resolution to 1080p. Now that I changed that back to 4k (in windows and in the game) everything looks much better again.

Feel a bit stupid now.
