Hello people,

I need to add at least 4TB of storage to my PC asap.

As you can see from my PC spec I will be very soon upgrading it ( intel Z87 currently) so the new  DISK will be moved to the new system sometime in summer

I would like to know if I could add an NVMe SSD on a PCIe card or is just better to get a SATA SSD like the 870QVO

very expensive on all nvme in that size.

best are around 1-2 TB? while SSD like QVO up to 8 TB.

or get a better tier SSD for 4 TB and that you wouldnt gain too much with nvme?

QVO might be fine for storage, don't know how well it will do with games over its shorter life span?

I am already using a 500Gb SSD as boot and one 1Tb as game/program and a 3TB WD Black as mass storage and I would like to move to all SSD setup ...full NVMe at one so I can avoid cables

Nvme for mass storage is the exact opposite of what it is made for. That and you can't avoid cables unless you do pcie nvme drives which are very very moderboard dependent on if you can use max 1 for a pcie slot or multiple. There is a reason hdds are not going anywhere yet.

Qvo drives are ok for just storage but simply suck for having programs or games on them due to their reliance on pure qlc which can go as low as 8mb/s in constant read or writes (so slower than a hdd).
