Did you DDU and reinstall drivers when you swapped the 5700xt and 3070?

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Check drivers, check temps and clocks to make sure card isn't a dud, all that basic annoying tedious stuff we enthusiasts hate.

Display Driver Uninstaller, its a tool, I would recommend you give it a go. They have an option you use when installing a brand new card, it completely wipes your system of any and all old display drivers before you plop the new boy in.

EDIT: Check temps with something like msi afterburner or HWmonitor

DDU is Display Driver Uninstaller. You can download it from guru 3d and run it and install the drivers.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

i know this will sound stupid but how do i run it in safe mode lul

Click the Windows-button → Power.
Hold down the shift key and click Restart.
Click the option Troubleshoot and then Advanced options.
Go to “Advanced options” and click Start-up Settings.
Under “Start-up Settings” click Restart.
Various boot options are displayed. Click F4
Windows 10 starts in Safe Mode.

And then just run the exe file.

Any update? Once you uninstalled the old drivers with DDU, restarted your PC, then installed the new ones, you should be good to try again.
