Hi, so I have a problem with my ram. I can't make changes to it in bios without getting a black screen any time I make changes. I can't change the voltage, select an xmp profile, or change the frequency. If I do any of this I get a black screen and have to then shut down the pc and remove cmos, thus resetting bios in order for it to boot. I can overclock my cpu just fine though. I have a Ryzen 5600x, MSI MPG B550 Gaming plus motherboard, and 32gb of two 16gb ram sticks of the corsair vengence rgb pro at 3200mz. It's currently running at 2133mz. Any help or advice anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had a similar issue in a PC I built for a client. It ended up being a defective memory stick. The first thing we can try is using ONE memory stick at a time, try to overclock. If the system crashes only on one stick, then that one is defective. If this doesn't work I would try to update the system BIOS. MSI has software called "Dragon Center" that allows you to easily update your Mobo' BIOS from Windows and it will do all the rebooting and installing for you.
