Most windows startup programs won't start on boot!

So recently I have been noticing that some startup programs that I have SET to start along with windows don't. I will include screenshots of the programs that should open up and the ones that actually do when task manager starts responding again. Which brings me to the other issue I also have and it is that the system (2-3 month fresh install of Windows 8.1 with the latest updates) is generally unstable. The occurence of insert_program_name_here.exe has stopped responding is also a lot more frequent than before...

 

 

 

EDIT: Now that I closed task manager that just didn't wanna respong the whole taskbar has stopped working. This is frustrating...

check the the program itself isnt set to not start because it might be overriding the MSCONFIG settings

Well, if anyone's interested, I fixed the problem by disconecting a "broken" hdd I had to copy my data someday and EVERY single issue I had was fixed :D. Ah it feels so good now :)
