I have the same problem as this topic

 

Updated drivers etc and nothing seems to sove it aprt from running a cable! Also tried changing wifi signals, both 2.5 and 5ghz. SSID change, static IP and nothing seems to work.

Ooh, I just saw this. I honestly don't remember if it fixed itself. I don't think it did? That was 6+ months ago, and I've been away. Where I've been I've had no issues dropping connection, I'll have to see what it's like when I'm home in a few weeks. However I also changed my ISP at home, so it'll be different when I get home.
