Hi everyone!  I wounder if u could help me with one thing, i want to connect Ps3 into monitor then i can hear sound of system but whe i start a game then i dont hear anything, i tried to connect speakers it doesnt work, i tried headphones it doesnt work, so maybe you can give me tips, meybe i shouldnt have my computer connected to or what? plss help.

Where and with what cable did you connect the speakers or headphones. 

 

And your computer shouldn't have anything to do with it. A monitor is just a display with nothing else really. You should connect your headphones or speakers to your ps3 and your HDMI cable or some other video transmitting cable to your monitor.

If your display is capable of transmitting sound via HDMI then you need to check that that feature is enabled. Otherwise you will need to connect speakers/headphones straight to PS3 in order to get sound to them.

BUT my headphones has this connector  file:///C:/Users/Patryk/Desktop/imgres.jpg and it doesnt go into ps3, the speakers has the same one.

 

Ehm... I'm trying not to say the obvious new-to-tech joke here. But you need to either upload pic to external service or add it to post via Attach file thingy. I'm not so good hacker that I could see whats on you hard drive.

 

E: Could I have monitor model/name? "Asus" doesn't say much.
