Well that's better than nothing, but I don't have high hopes for it. What is the error message and error code of the blue screen ? Take a photo.

Sorry for the delay, I've been fixing another machine of mine that was on the blink.

I didn't get round to screenshotting the BSOD before I put the 260u back in it. I might get a chance to do this in the coming days.

Major update:

The AMD Athlon II X3 420E CPU is here. I have installed it, applied new thermal paste, booted up the Zino CPU is detected fine and Linux is performing much better.

I can finally watch x265 HVEC movies properly instead of stuttering. So far everything is stable but will know soon enough if it mi-behaves because I use it every day.

Now I am still waiting for the HDD caddy and the mini-pcie WiFi card.

So far I am happy the Zino is a big upgrade from the Ugoos UT4 android box that I had before that was supposed to be 4K but it reality could not even play 1080p HVEC movies.

So yours is functioning properly with a 420e and yet mine won't cope with a 415e. This suggests that I am doing something wrong... I will get the BSOD sorted asap, perhaps it will give me a starting point for figuring this out.

I'm glad your upgrade went well, it's always a good feeling to successfully increase the performance of a rig.

Yes mine is working perfectly fine, I am watching a movie right now. I received my Wi-Fi card a few days ago, but the pigtails have not arrived yet so I didn't install it. Still waiting for the HDD caddy to install my 6TB HDD.

Could it be that we have slightly different versions of the Zino ?

Update !!

HDD caddy is here, installed my SSD in the caddy and added the 6TB WD Red bellow the SSD.

The bios did not detect the capacity of the HDD correctly and states it was 1.6TB drive but Linux is happy with the drive and detects it as 5.8TB, so all is good.

Also bios is stupid and on the boot order menu you have to set to boot from cd/dvd in-order to use the SSD in the caddy.

Good Day bro, Since You've successfully upgraded your Zino HD, I gonna Assume that "AMD Athlon II X3 405E X3" will work for having the Same 45 watt, I can't find the Same
CPU you've used but here in our country this is the Only CPU available, Any suggestion about this, before I proceed to Order this CPU, thanks
