I just recently built this rig about two weeks ago.  I’m still a relatively new builder so i would appreciate some feedback.  Here are the parts:

RTX 3090 FE

Ryzen 7 3700x

EKWB 240MM AIO

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V

MSI MPG B5501 Gaming Edge WiFi (Mini ITX)

Western Digital 1 TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe, 8Gb/s, WDS100T2B0C

SilverStone 800W SFX-L, 80 Plus Titanium

Razer Tomahawk Mini-ITX

1440p monitor, 144hz, gsync

The problem I’m running into is that my FPS is consistently lower than what I should be getting when I compare it to average FPS benchmarks on various websites or tech channels.

For instance, maxed out graphics settings in Destiny 2 at 1440p should be yielding significantly higher FPS than what I’m getting (In the tower for instance I’m dipping into low 70 FPS).  Cyberpunk with ray tracing on at 1440p outside of Lizzy’s bar is at around 50FPS (I know cyberpunk is very demanding but this isn’t even 4K and I’m at 45-50 FPS)

So are these optimization issues in game or do I have a bottleneck in my system that I could fix with a slight hardware upgrade.

Is my CPU bottlenecking the 3090, is the RAM speed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
