You used it to purchase something and now it doesn't work? Thats bit conflicting... If its Steam gift card, you can add it fully to your account. After that the funds, or rest of them, are tied to your account and the code does not work anymore. If its something else, like something specific to GameStop, you need either to contact them or provide more details.
