Hi I built a pc a few years ago and am looking to upgrade to output a 4k 60hz display. I'm wondering if my parts are compatible with a radeon rx 5700 xt and if I can even get 4k res out of that gpu or will I be bottlenecked down. (im ok with playing at a 1440 res for some higher end triple a games). Ideally I would like to get an rtx 3070 but given how impossible it is to find those at the time im ok with compromising. Any recommendations would be awesome as well as suggestions in upgrading other components. Thanks.

You got a windows OEM, which means you have to buy a new key, as they will not accept new motherboards/new systems, but I think you can boot into them though?

New RAM, CPU, MB.

I'm unfamiliar with OEM. I just chose that as it was the first option that came up in pc part picker. My OS according to system information is windows 10 home. How could I figure out if it is OEM?

If you got it digitally or it said on the windows you buyed to be OEM (often in the name of the product).

I don't know if it's the same with full, or if you have to buy it in physical form.

But you are going to know if it's that or not, I thought one could see it in the OS about section?

Go instead to updates tab, and down to activation and it might say if you got it or not.
