Got new parts, put it together, no post. I have switched out the motherboard and CPU. The EZ debug light says CPU. I bought a new PSU, maybe thinking I needed to make it have it’s overclocking port as well. Tried 1 stick of ram, flashing bios. I did notice something though. If the GPU isn’t in the PCIE slot, it still says CPU, even when it’s plugged in.

MoBo: MSI MAG x570 Tomahawk WiFi

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU: RX 580 Armor OC

Ram; G. Skill Trident Z RGB ram

PSU: Corsair RM 650

Cooler: Standard Wraith cooler that comes with the Ryzen 7 3700x

I am staring to get frustrated with this.

Did a BIOS update on the old board. Haven’t done it with the newone since it says it’s out of the box comparable. Tried 1 stick of ram. Tried Re-seating.

Do you have any way to check that your CPU is indeed working?

Did you connect the CPU power on the motherboard (usually top left corner)

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.4GHz 1.2v / GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700 Mech OC GP (5700XT Bios) @ 2GHz / MB: Asus ROG Strix B450-F / RAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 / CASE: MSI MAG Vampiric 010X

Yup.

Don’t have anyway to see if it’s working, but i had bought a new one and it still didn’t work.

So you had two 3700x?

If you have tried two CPU's and its still not working chances are that the problem is the motherboard.

So you tried two different motherboards and two different cpus?

Yes. There’s a light that lights up “CPU” which means it’s not detected or it failing. I first thought it was the CPU, but it wasn’t, So i thought maybe the Motherboard CPU slot was bad, but the light still shows up.

Then I would give it a try to updating the BIOS on the newer one even tho it says its out of the box compatible.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.4GHz 1.2v / GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700 Mech OC GP (5700XT Bios) @ 2GHz / MB: Asus ROG Strix B450-F / RAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 / CASE: MSI MAG Vampiric 010X
