I recently made a new build in an NZXT H1 case using the included AIO cooler, and after about a month of use I started to notice a weird issue. Occasionally (1 in 7 times) when I start up my pc, the CPU temps will rapidly climb to 90c+ without launching any applications other than MSI afterburner. I have multiple system monitoring which all display that the fan is on and spinning. I made sure of all this by booting into the bios which the same issue occurred. I decided to change the CPU fan curve to 100% at all times and this changed nothing. I removed and reapplied thermal paste multiple times and even had someone else do it for me once to make sure I wasn't making errors. I touched the tubes on the AIO and they were warm, so I'm pretty sure that the pump is working. Sometimes the temps are completely fine (35c idle and 70max in game), so I really don't understand what the problem is. Sometimes the PC will start up fine and then after an hour of gaming it will suddenly jump in temp. Please help.

if it only happens on boot up... sounds like your motherboard isnt kicking the pump on or the pump is faulty on the AIO with the case. I would try moving the fan header and/or updating your BIOS on your motherboard to see if it continues. If it continues afterwards, open a case with NZXT as I think you may have a faulty unit.

Sounds like you simply have background tasks that will run and load the CPU fully at those times, you didn't say if you checked usage in task manager.

Nothing unusual.

Might just be a glitch or bug in the software.

I forgot to mention: 1-12%max usage on start up. Every time I boot my pc now, I sit and watch MSI afterburner or Nzxt cam and hope that the temp doesn't climb that time.
