When i put AMD GPUs in this system, i dont get any display output. When i used a gtx1070 it started up perfectly fine. All of the components are working, and all of the GPUs have been tested on an Intel system and they work after drivers are installed. I used this ssd and did a clean install on the intel machine and downloaded the AMD drivers (the 6800xt was installed at the time) and tested it to make sure it was working and swapped it over to the ryzen system but that still didint work., it worked with the 1070 still though. I cant install AMD drivers with a Nvidia card installed.

I had a weird system like that, a certain card I had would work in any machine I put it in but the finicky one.    I blamed the motherboard, but just kept using it with an alternate GPU.

Did that gigabyte board have that deal where you had to update your bios in a certain order? and did you do that? It would of been written next to the BIOS... I guess I could just go look

AMD drivers

Did you try any of the other outputs on your GPU?  Going back to f10 really shouldn't make a difference, but it is worth a try, being the f11p is a beta bios.

Disconnect the harddrive and try it again, can you get into the bios?

yeah, i tried both DPs and the HDMI. They worked fine on the intel system. Ill try removing the SSD tmr and ill get back to you. Starting the system without any drives brings it into bios? A bios could make it so one brand card wouldnt work at all?

I had this problem and my solution was to unplug my VR headset then run windows update & restart twice.

I only had mouse, keyboard, hdmi, and internet connected.

no, it would usually bring you to a prompt saying "hey no os installed, press any key, blah blah.   anything is possible though, which is why after you have basically exhausted all regular means, you start looking at other stuff.

Still no display without a drive installed.

Went back to f10 and still no display. Could there be a bios option for AMD gpus?
