Hello. I really need help. I am new to building, so this is my first build. My components:

Ryzen 9 5900X

RTX2080ti

Aorus liquid cooler 240

Gskill 16gb rgb ram 2×

Phantex eclipse p400a

I just have done my build and when i try to turn it on, everything spins at full, but that's all... no display output, just spins fully. RGB only on RAM. When I try to unplug the D_LED2 (picture) connector, the fans light up, but only the case ones. The cooler won't even light up, not even the led display. I am pretty sure that everything is plugged in correctly checked like 4 times even someone else checked(I hope. When I turn the pc on by the button on case, I can't turn it back off. Only way is to turn the PSU off. I kinda lost all hope... Can anyone know what can be the problem?

You didn't mention your mobo, can it support your CPU out of the box, or does it need a BIOS update to see it?

1)Take out one stick of ram, and

2)check if your motherboard is compatible with the cpu.

Hope this helps, happy Christmas!

The one stick of ram tried, but still nothing. And the MB should be compatible. Or it says on the box.

Happy Christmas to you too!

Aorus X570 elite,

Yes the mobo page says it's supported since BIOS F30, the question is....what BIOS came with the mobo? If it's the base one (looks like F3) then no, it won't POST, because it has no idea what to do with that CPU...

Oh ok. How can you find out the bios? I have no idea, and no money to spend😂

Well now that's a problem. You'd have to beg/borrow/or steal the lowest CPU it'll support, based on the assumption it's at the original BIOS version (F3) and see what happens when you plug it in.

A local computer shop should be kind enough to help you with this.

Some boards (some mind you, dunno if yours does) will allow you to flash the BIOS even without the CPU installed. CHeck that too.

Your motherboard manual should tell you if this option exists

I have read on some blog, that it shoud work. So I'll look into the manual.

If your board will support that, it will solve that question. Let us know how that goes.
