My pc keeps making weird noises...

Since i have changed my hardware recently, i've noticed weird sounds iys making, its like a car starting up literally. So the thing is that the guy who i brought the computer to told me he had to change the power supply and gpu(because i had old hardware) and he did, thats when it started making noises, after that i changed the gpu again and it still makes those noises. the second gpu was also given to me by the same guy so i suspect that its faulty maybe, or its the power supply problem, the graphics card that i have right now is Radeon HD 6850. and i dont even know the psu name, its just a grey box... it makes these loud noises every time i turn it on.

Check your fans by unplugging them and connecting them one at a time until you hear that noise. Sounds like a worn out bearing. Could be the cpu heatsink fans as well. Maybe remove the GPU and start the system, it won't boot but the noise should still be there, if it is gone it was the GPU or at least one it's fans. I have one fan like that in my system that I am too lazy to replace but it is nowhere near as annoying as this one. Theoretically you could have one of your fans grinding dust or getting too close to the case and making a noise like that as well. I am fairly certain it is one of the fans in your system. You just need some time to figure out which one it is. I would disconnect the HDD that holds your OS to avoid damaging the installation when playing around with fan cables and restarting the pc multiple times.

To me it sounds like a fan issue. It may be scratching the plastic or something. Try running your computer without the GPU and see if you can still hear the noise.

If you can then it is either the PSU or CPU fan. But if you cannot, then it is the GPU fan.

i have already tested the other fans, the cpu and the other stock one and its not them, so its between the gpu and psu but im not that experienced in this hardware stuff so im afraid that i wont be able to plug it back in xd

Removing the GPU is not that difficult. First you power the system down. Then I would recommend placing the computer on it's side with the internals facing you. Then remove the power cables that are connected on the right hand side of the graphics card. Then loosen and remove the screws on the left hand side that mount the graphics card to the case. With the screws removed, gently move your fingers underneath the graphics card. On the far right side of the slot that hold the graphics card there should be a little plastic retainer you need to push in order to gently raise the card upward out of the slot. As for the power supply, you can loosen the 4 screws holding it to case in the rear and then gently move it into the case and turn it over to see the fan. You can use your ear to check if the sound gets louder the closer you get.

I'll do that as soon as i get the time, and i will inform you about it, thank you.
