Hello, as title says PC does not post. I am getting error codes A6 and immediately switches to error code 0D. I have done some research online says the check all connections which i did everything is seated in its place as it should. I have also tested the RAM on my old build and it boots fine. I've tried a BIOS update through the ez flash does not seem to work (or possibly i have done this incorrectly) i followed directions on the Asus website. BIOS LED on back on case not lit. If there is anymore information i can Provide please let me know.

**EDIT**

So I found the proper BIOS update for for my Mobo. Currently installing Windows. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP EVERYONE!!!!!!!

I suspect you have made some sort of mistake when running Bios flashback, possibly downloading it for the wrong motherboard. I know Asus makes 2 or 3 different motherboards called Crosshair VIII, so it's possible that you downloaded the bios for one of the other Crosshair boards.

What do the Q leds tell you? Do they lead you somewhere else? I can't seem to find anything about error codes on this motherboards manual, which seems stupid to me.

Thank you for the fast response, and upon powering up the PC the Yellow Q LED is lit up.

The manual does have error codes. A6 is "SCSI Detected" and "0D" is "Reserved for future AMI SEC Error Codes"

The error should be in your storage of choice, from my understanding, it's not detecting anything connected through sata or m.2 so it isn't allowing POST to finish.

If u didn’t flash BIOS update correctly the MOBO won’t recognize the new cpu.
make sure u got usb 2 disconkey as FAT32 and the new BIOS with change name as only file on it.
while psu on but do not try start ur pc put disconkey in the right port and press BIOS for 3 sec and I’ll see the light flashing (if u get solid light it didn’t work) after a bit the light will go off. This means you update ur BIOS. Remove disconkey and try post ?
