i have an mobo Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming andfor gpu a msi gtx 1660  gaming x. I want to buy a AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT Box with the  Asus ROG Strix LC 240 for cooling and for ram i am thinking G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR) or G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4-3000MHz (F4-3000C16D-16GTZR)

1st question:will i need more than a 500watt psu ? at coolermaster calculator says abt 400watts but i am not pretty sure that i will need only 400 watts

2nd question:is this build compatible ? i mean does this mobo supports the AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT Box with the  Asus ROG Strix LC 240 for liquid cooler ? is already bios updated for the ryzen 3000 series

3rd question:i am thinking abt buying a monitor is MSI Optix G241VC 23.6" Curved Gaming Monitor a good choice ?

whats your thoughts on the build tho.

For that machine, if you aren't planning on overclocking, a 500w should be just fine. The CM Calculator gives what each component should use, and it gives the total of what the system will draw. You do want to make sure to give yourself some breathing room on that number, however, because if you don't you can run into some black-screening or not being able to boot. (Example: a friend had his system put in that calculator and it said he needed a 250w minimum, so he used a salvaged 250w from an old Dell. That system worked, and when booted up it ran just fine, but he could not turn it on with the keyboard and mouse connected without OCP being triggered).

As for the cooler, its just a rebranded Asetek cooler, and those are compatible with AM4, so you should be perfectly fine. If you already have the motherboard, update your bios on it to be safe before selling your current CPU. If not, it really just depends on the manufacture date of that board, and it can be iffy. If you haven't bought it yet, email support from where ever you are going to buy it from and ask if it is. If you get the CPU and it does not boot, AMD does run a program where they'll send you a loaner CPU to update your BiOS to get the system up and running.

As for the monitor, try to get something high refresh rate (100Hz or higher). Prices have really come down on those in the past few years, and the small premium you will pay for it is well worth it.

also, get the 3200MHz ram, as Ryzen loves fast memory, and the faster, the better (up until about 3600MHz).

All b450 motherboards support ryzen x 3000 series, you are good to go.

The monitor is a budget VA, as long as you don't have a problem with VA panels in general, slow refresh rate monitor and you don't have crazy expectations, you will be fine. Now curved on 24 inches? Not my thing

I've used that specific motherboard in a system a while a go, so my memory might be a bit foggy. I believe it does in fact support memory speeds upwards of 4400MHz. You should easily be able to run a high performance kit of memory on there.

@_Mateos__ for the processor, your motherboard does support the cpu bit it might need a bios flash to use it. It might be on an old bios. Not 100 percent sure as I know I had to do a bios flash on my b450 board.
