10-bit 4K monitor runs at 8-bit with non-native resolution.

Hello! 

I own a BenQ PD2700U 4K UHD (3840x2160) monitor. 

Though the monitor is generally great, it has one issue: the image doesn’t fully fit horizontally on the screen, resulting in 2 thin fuzzy strips on the left & right edges of the panel. 

If I reduce the horizontal resolution from 3840 to 3802, I remove the issue, but the 10-bit color space drops to 8-bit. 

 

Is there a way to drop the resolution, and also maintain the 10-bit color space?
