No idea where to post remove if need (it's esd related)

Thebudgetbuildguy

Alright guys so I got a big title but I got a coolermaster masterbox lite 3.1 case and it says its all alloyed steel but I honestly have no idea where to connect my esd wrist strap (I had one lying around I didn't buy it cus my dad works with electricals) I just want to use it to prevent frying my pc. So could I connect it to my case as its "alloyed steel" and there is absolutely no bare metal in my case as its pure black.聽

Cheers for any responses merry Christmas and stay safe 馃憤馃榾馃檪

Generally, you're fine just occasionally touching the chassis to reduce static build-up. If you frequently get shocked when touching conductive items, like a doorknob, then I would definitely wear a wrist strap, but you should be good just connecting it to the chassis as-is. Otherwise, build your PC on an anti-static surface, like a wooden table, and avoid carpeted floors.聽
