So I've recently got a 10700k and a ASUS Z490-E, up from a 7700k and a Z270-F which had roughly the same problem. The problem is is that with benchmark scores, whether overclocked or not, they are always quite a bit lower than other people's scores. For instance, 3DMark timespy puts me in the bottom 15% with similar hardware, and Cinebench R23 puts me at 1500 points below similar hardware.

I'm wondering what could be going wrong. I'm running stock config at the moment to try and figure this out before I start overclocking. As a side note, my temps are well in below 65 under full sustained load, and no thermal throttling or power throttling according to XTU. The only motherboard options I have changed is enabling XMP for 2666mhz, but tests were ran before XMP as well and that barely made any difference.

Any suggestions at all? Thanks. I'm quite stumped on what could be causing this on two separate processors and motherboards. Memory or power are my only ideas, but I'm no where near the rated limit of my PSU right now.
