Hi
I want to avoid the "TV Tax" by buying anything who could receive anything who start with "DVB".
So what are my options for just Watching Bluray, Streaming,... in my Home Office Bed?
Are there some TV without the TV Part in it and be not something like a Public Display who is (for good reason) expensive?
Thanks

From AT. :x

Okay, you're really gonna have to explain yourself here...

Generally speaking its actually cheaper to buy, and easier to find, a TV than a 'large' monitor.

I don't want to pay 315€ yearly for the propaganda channels I never watch.

ok ..then dont.

Obviously i dunno the law where u are, but here in the UK it is a common misconception that if u own and use a TV, u need a TV license, when in fact its 'how' u use it that matters.

My display for my PC is a TV, i dont pay a TV license because im not using it as such, im not viewing live broadcasts.

Still, if indeed u will need to pay that fee, then I can understand that, Monitors general top out at 32" , however there are a few 42" options, they use TV panels but are not TVs, they do however suffer from a few issues that make them less desirable for PC use (subpixel layout), so 32" is really the biggest u should look at.
