Hello, I built my computer about 2 years ago and this is driving me nuts.

The Build (First one so I am sure I could have done things differently)

Case: Antec 900

Motherboard: Asus Rampage iv Gene

CPU: intel 3820

GPU: AMD hd 7950

Power Supply: Coolermaster 1000w 80 plus bronze

Memory: 32GB Patriot Viper Black 1600Mhz

SSD: OCZ 256GB

Hard Drive: 3TB Seagate Green

CPU cooler: Corsair h80

Blu Ray player: LG MODISC

OS: WIndows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I boot up and always have network problems. There is a yellow exclamation mark next to my network adapter and intel management engine interface. I can disable and enable the network adapter and I can go online but the MEI still has a yellow exclamation mark next to it. Or I can restart the computer and all is resolved. I have a work around but is really irritating. I recently watched a video with Linus and he said to right click the item go to the properties, detail tab, drop down to hardware ID and copy it. Go online to see if there is a fix or download. I tried that but have had no success. I downloaded the newest drivers from ASUS MEI and Lan. I have even done a fresh install. Could it be a BIOS thing or a Windows setting I really don't know can you help me out or if you need more info.? Thanks

By the way the network card shows as a intel® 82579v Gigabit Network Connection and the hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_00008086&REV_06

and the Intel® Management Engine Interface hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1D3A&SUBSYS_84EF1043&REV_05
