I am currently mass upgrading my pc and I want to know if my cpu would be able to support the ram i want, my motherboard is a Asus PRIME Z390M-PLUS Micro ATX motherboard and I have a i7 9700f to go with it, I am thinking about getting super fast ram since I am sadly rocking 2666mhz ram still.

Now that I have finished the intro, the question I had was if i would be able to run Patriot Viper Steel ram that is clocked at 4000mhz on my pc (if my cpu could support it). If it doesnt support it, please let me know what I would need to do in order for me to run the sexy 4000mhz ram

That is unnecessary, go for a kit of 3200 or 3600 mhz ram. The 4000mhz might work or it might be unstable.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Yes, I believe that will work. But if I were you, I would get at most 3200 instead of 4000. Intel does not need super fast RAM

The main reason I was contemplating it was because of the frame increase

As state above, Intel doesn't care as much about super fast RAM as AMD.

I doubt you'll get any appreciable FPS increases from 3200 vs 4000. 3200 is the safe, more stable bet.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!
