Help! System doesn’t post.

Just changed my gpu. I uninstalled old drivers and installed new gpu, system posted and everything, installed new drivers. Then I shut down my system. Changed the hdmi cable for display port. Now system wont post and mobo vga led is on.

Some systems, for whatever reason, don't like DisplayPort as the only output.

See if it works when using HDMI.

Funny thing it works fine with default bios settings.

if i enable docp it just doesn’t wotk.

What RAM and what does DOCP set it to?

Have you tried just reversing the cable ends of the DisplayPort cable? I've had an issue with that where I would only get output when the cable was plugged in one direction.

Never unpluged the dp from the monitor. Had it with dp on last card

I have a tforce delta 3200 cl 16

See if it works when manually overclocked to 3000 or something. I don't know how to do this, but other people will.
