So I was in the middle of installing a program (Bluebeam 2020) and I accidently hit the cancel button. When that happened the system crashed.  Now my existing Bluebeam 2015 won't operate, can't install a new one as it says the program is installed (but isn't), and can't uninstall it as there is no option at all.

Me being the idiot now figured that a system restore might fix it, but now it's stuck on the "Please wait while your windows files and settings are being restored. System Restore is initializing..." It's been saying this for almost an hour with no change.

Please help!

Is the hard drive light still on? If so, then leave it overnight, see what happens. If it's still there in the morning, then you have no choice but to force a reboot and try to get back into the OS.

Report back.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

Just as I was reading your reply, it changed and now says "System Restore is restoring the registry". So looks like it's doing something.
