Sooooo.... I was wondering what you guys thought would be a good case to put a msi MPower Max (Z87) into?  I was thinking of possibly putting led's underneath for an under-glow so I want a darker interior. I also want plenty of cooling capability so mid or full tower(no WC yet, saving that for bigger and better cases like the Enthoo Primo:D...*drool*). Not much of a fan of the super glossy, a nice metal case would do the trick.  Simpler design, not too many angles or boxy shapes.  So with those guidelines what do you think?

-Cheers!!!

-P.S. My initials are really P.B.J. Does that explain enough? :D

the top of the board is were the 8 pin is so keep that in mind when you are looking at a case because i had trouble getting it to fit in to the CM Trooper

Thanks for the tip!

Fractal Design Define R4?

I would like a nice window, and the windowed version makes it look a tidbit small I think... Thanks for the suggestion though!

-Cheers!!!

Well if you're not gonna be installing anything in the 5.25" bay (or are not adverse to a hacksaw) then I second the 750D. With the 5.25" bay covers removed it looks awful, which is a massive shame. But it's a nice big case with a nice big window.

You could also go for a Vengeance C70 if you want slightly more bells and whistles in the design.

The cooler master HAF stacker is a pretty solid choice, you can just use the main part of the case for now and you've go that spare piece for when you decide to go water cooling. But unless you can buy that middle bit separately (I can't find it anywhere) it may be a bit OTT.

NZXT H440 black would be great if it came in a few colours, or you could go for the white also.

And of course the R4, always a solid choice.

The H440 case looks like it has some good design ideas but the looks of a case is a matter of your own taste and I don't really like it. I have the C70 and it's agreat case but when I do my loop I will need more room so I have decided to either get a 750D or the new 760T which will be available tomorrow. Sleek and classy or a bit more flashy. I can't decide.

Intel 4670k, MSI Z97 Krait Edition, 2 x 4 Gbs G-Skill Trident X 2400 Mhz, CPU full W/C loop, Sapphire R9 290-flash to a 290x, Samsung 840Pro 128 Gb SSD, Seagate 1 Tb Hdd, Seasonic SS660x2 Platinum PSU, NZXT 2m white sleeved LED strip. 9 Fans all Corsair SP or AF except 1 80mm high speed for NB/VRM cooling. Corsair 750 full tower case.

Hmmm... maybe, I like the . That stealth plate is interesting...might have looked a little better if it was a full psu shroud and then a stealth plate for the hard drives. I do like the shape on the outside

Yeah I know, it would be nice to have different colors other than the black and red H440.  I was thinking about the white one for a while before I thought of the underglow for the motherboard. I really like that case.

I like it! Yet I want a window...

Thanks everyone, this is great!!!
