JBL headphones help

Hey so I have the JBL E55bt headphones and they were working fine until now. When ever I am using the headphones and I open an app that uses audio, like a game or something, the headphones stop playing audio and I have to go to settings and reconnect and disconnect headphones everytime. Would anyone know a solution to this? I even forgot the headphones and re connected but that didn't work. All the help is appreciated.
