Ports not working

Go to solution Solved by Master Disaster,

Start by resetting the CMOS.

Unplug the power for the PC from the wall, remove the side panel and locate the battery on the board. Remove the battery and leave it out for a few minutes (3 should be plenty) then put the battery back, plug the power back in and try booting again.

So there was a power outage for 1 second, not sure if that is called power surge or not. After that the monitors - speakers... all peripherals actually get no power/signal from my pc (monitors were on the gpu) everything else seems to be working when i boot my PC if i can tell from the LEDs. What could have happened and is it repairable?

Seems to be the solution. Thanks a bunch! Any idea what could have caused this and how i can prevent it from happening again?

Its really nothing to worry about, it could have been lots of things.

I will suggest that you check your BIOS version on the board and if its a really early release version upgrade to the latest one.
