4.7 is a tall order for a 4670k that isn't under a custom loop

You should be able to reach 4.4 jigabeets with an average chip. You might even be able to get to 4.6 jigabeets if you up the voltage a bit.

@Lays

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

I always find it useful to start with seeing what temperatures it can handle, thus I start with voltage. before you change clocks see if you can get it up to 1.3v (don't recommend further for everyday use) and if the temps are comfortable for you see how high you can get the clocks. once you find your peak start to bring the voltage down until as low as stably possible.

Yeah, 4.2 should be a good starting place. Hopefully you can hit 4.4 and beyond while keeping good temps. I have an H100 on a 4670k at 4.4, 1.27v stable for almost a year now if that gives you any confidence. I had it at 4.6 for a while but load temps were a bit high for me, but obviously there's that silicon lottery so ymmv.
