Bottleneck Questions!

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU currently. I just back ordered a 3060ti that will arrive in one month. I know my CPU will bottleneck my GPU a bit but I don’t fully understand the downside. Other than the 3060ti not performing to full FPS potential, is there going to be any negative side affects to this pairing in games like fortnite and warzone at 1080p 144hz. Someone explain bottlenecking here.

I mean is it something that needs to be explained? Just think of the word itself, Bottle neck. You are limited based on the bottleneck itself, once you reach that limit it wont go any faster.

 

There really isnt a downside besides not getting the full performance.
