Advice, I am sure my BQ straight power 11 just went

j1mgg

I was just sitting watching a bit of YouTube, then 10mins later my pc just turned off, went to try and turn it on again, and got a click.

Pulled out kettle lead, checked other cables connected to mains adapter, and they were still all fine, connected kettle lead, switched to I, turned on, nothing.

Checked all internal cabling, connected again, nothing.

Disconnected pay, removed, put in MB supply only, plugged into my son's MB, nothing. The only thing I seem to get is a click.

Guessing it is a RMA, or is there something else I may be doing wrong?

Dispatch date was 4th December 2019.

Thanks,

Jim

Then it's done for. I hope you can get a replacement quickly!

Luckily, the supplier has sent me a prepaid RMA stamp to send it back to them, they will test, and replace if found faulty.

The only worry is they don't have this PSU in stock, and then it would be a refund. Worry is, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of higher tier PSUs in stock just now, plus it looks like I got this on a deal as I had time in my hand (£125).

Suppose, still better than having to pay £20 to send to Germany, and possibly be without anything for 4 weeks.

Yeah power supply are hard to get right now.

I) recently actually bought a Straight Power 11 750w, just to have one ready in case my over 10 year old Corsair AX760i bites the dust.
