Recommendations from Golfers

It's starting to warm up here in Connecticut so golf season is around the corner. I can play for my high school. I have decided that it is time to replace my irons. I like my other clubs but I just want to replace my "cheap" irons (they're not that bad but they are a little too small and seem a little flimsy). I am a righty, 195 cm (I can use regular length but it's easier with a longer shaft), and prefer a regular flex. I would buy sub-$400 clubs but prefer under $300.

Looking for blades, cavity backs or perhaps a mix? What irons are you now using?

 

The best would be to get some irons fitted for you if it's possible but it might be hard on that budget. You could also check out used clubs and reshaft them if you feel the need to.

I probably should get some fitted for me. I was looking for cavities.
