Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Wireless Connection Problems

I have a dell e6440 and the wifi had been working fine until recently and now it keeps asking for the password randomly and connects for a while and stops working and then asks for password. I have disabled my vpn and that doesn't seem to fix any thing. Restarting the computer didn't work either.

yeah I have only had this problem recently and now the popup is asking for it like every few minutes and then it goes back to working again

store password for all users is checked did not fix problem
