Underperformance for no reason

IgnasHQ

So i've had this pc for 3 months now, pretty new, everything was fine, games were running smoothly af, but now i've noticed that the performance of games dropped drastically, the biggest drop in performance i saw was in GTA V. i have no idea what the problem could be.

My specs are:

i7 10700

RTX 2060

TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS

KINGSTON 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 HyperX FURY

Antec HCG850 Gold Power Supply 850 W

As Shimejii stated above, check your ingame settings. There also could be a couple of reasons causing this.
- Make sure your all your drivers are updated.

- Run the game and run something like NZXT Cam to monitor your GPU and CPU temperatures while gaming and idle. If you are seeing high temperatures then your problem is with cooling. Ensure that the CPU cooler is mounted properly and there is good airflow.
- Run any antivirus and do a full scan.

Follow these steps and let me know what happens
