Need pc build advice

Pika_Chew

Hey, i am upgrading my pc to a new one, going to be buying the ryzen 5 5600X, with 16 GB RAM, and i cannot decide on the graphics card. right now i have a gtx 1050 ti and have had it since 2016. At first i was going to upgrade from it to 1660 super, which is 8.36% bottlenecking with cpu, but since 3060ti came out i cant decide. Can i just use 1050ti with the new build, then buy the 3060ti when its price comes down, or should i just buy the 1660 super right now? I am going to be using my pc for basic blender, video games and basic video editing.

buy a 3060 ti later, you'll get a bit of better preformance because of the new cpu. Also where do you have that data with the bottle neck from

Any Help is appricated! Please correct me if I´m wrong!

you could run rtx 3080 just fine with 5600X, do not trust the bottleneck calculators. they are just as bad as wattage calculators and Userbenchmark.

Ryzen 5 3600x (or 2600...etc.) might be a much better use of finances...& put the difference into a 1660 super, etc. That's what I'd do if it was purely for gaming. No early adopter taxes. Ray-tracing is still in its infancy.

I have no idea how that came out really... Well I d say 3070 feels better than 3060ti price wise, but you still have to wait for price to come to normal
