Urgent help about ram speed.

I'm making the 5600x system. I have tridentz neo 32 GB 16*2 3200 mhz. Mobo is b550m AORUS pro p.

 

Everything runs fine but motherboard bios and task manager shows ram speed at 2133. But I enabled the xmp 3200 profile.

 

 

Please help.

Make sure you don’t have a “cool mode” or any conflicting bios settings. Some game modes turn off the xmp profile

Id try to clear CMOS then try again. Maybe do a BIOS update, if its not the latest one.

 

If that does not help, maybe try to set the Speed and Voltage manually without enabling XMP.

Don't do that, because the timings will still be terrible then.

 

If you have to manually set the frequency and voltage, still enable XMP because of the timings.

 

I'd also say update your BIOS, clear CMOS and then just try again with the XMP, before doing anything else.

You can adjust them as well. Its a bit of work though

I did everything. My BIOS is the one that came out 9 days ago.

Service center says my Motherboard doesnt support it? WTF

I spent a lot on this not to get 3200mhz becuase of the motherboard. Is the motherboard at fault? How can i check?

Shouldn't be the motherboard's fault. I also have a B550 Aorus Pro and i run Trindent Z's 32GB @3600MHz CL16.

3200mhz shoudl work. Enable XMP and manaully puit the voltages lsightly higher. Like dram voltage to 1.38or 1.4V and SOC to 1.1V

Yes but when you enable XMP do not exit bios, just up the voltage of the DRAM and SOC.

Yo uhave to see. If ti does not. Try ryzen master. 

From ryzen master leave everything auto expect

 

Use cpu z the see ram timings.

RAM speed and FLCK speed, put them on 1600mhz

the timings. only touch these: 

Use my cpu z pic for example.

Here's the thing. Apparantly this motherboard doesnt support XMP.

Yes but DOCP doesnt show. Only XMP shows up.

 

Can you please read about the daisy chain thing?

if XMP shows then the xmp is supported. Daisy chaining on that board is only a marketing term.

Ok i did the memory clock and voltage things and nothing. it stayed 2133.

 

wonder if i should return the board
