NZXT X73 RGB AIO rgb won’t detect on cam software

Hi there, I’m having an issue where i have the NZXT x73 rgb AIO won’t detect the 3 AERGB fans thats connected to the 3 way splitter from the cam. The manual says to connect any RGB to the nzxt connector so i did connect the output of the 3 aergb fans to it but somehow I cannot see it on Cam software. I didn’t have any nzxt hue controller. I just use the connectors that came with the fans. Can you guys help me?  Was also wondering if i should just connect the 3 fans to the mobo so i can control the lighting from there.
