NAT connection

So for the past year my NAT connection was strict in all possible games, One that I play right now is For Honor

And my nat connection is STRICT. I tried to port forward and it didn't help. I even tried to contact Ubisoft but recieved no answer.

I really hope u can help me guys.

If you have a modem then a router chances are your modem could be a modem/router in which case you will have to change the modem config so it also port forwards.

Check if your modem/router has the ability to set a device as DMZ, then set your console's ip as DMZ.

 

If it doesn't work, you might be behind Carrier grade NAT (CGNAT) and in that case there is nothing you can do.

what does your routers wan plug into? Its likely a modem/router, most people just call them modems. If you do have a modem/router there may be a configuration portal, though it's likely locked down from your isp

The WAN is connected directly to my ISP

so I'm not misunderstanding a coax directly to it? Then it could be the isp you would have to call them at that point and ask them to open the port you want

Connected how, into another box, into a phone socket, etc?

The ISP router has a cat 6 cable that goes to the WAN of the asus router

And from there to my PC

You can see if there is a web portal that will allow you to port forward in the isp box, otherwise you will have to ask your isp to do it.
