Premium Build Suggestions

Guzze

Budget (including currency): 2200 Dollars

Country: Sweden

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Primarly Gaming, however some editing may occur.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

No existing parts, no peripherals are needed. Upgrading from 1060 6GB and i5-4430. 144hz 1440p is what I am going to aim for.

OPTION: (5600x / 3080 instead maybe? I am not sure, it is easier in the future to upgrade GPU and therefore 5800x is more futureproof?!)

Any improvements to be made? Anything to think of when installing and putting the computer together?

Thanks for any help,

Best regards,

Gustaf

(One question I got is that does the motherboard support all the fans, I am unsure as I have not been able to find any information about this. If this is NOT the case, how do I deal with this matter?)

looks good. for mostly gaming, i'd go with 5600x+3080 over the 5800x+3070

That is what I am also thinking about. The thing is that it is a more advanced procedure to change the motherboard and or the processor in the future, where as the gpu is way easier.

if you're not buying now, and are willing to wait a bit, it's likely amd will release a 5700x at some point early next year
