Can't vertically my monitors

I had a 24" 60Hz monitor and I just bought the Acer ED320 something from Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Sometimes I like to have my secondary monitor in portrait mode, but when I do this with my current setup when my mouse exits the top corner of my main monitor it enters at the center of my portrait monitor when it should be entering at like 3/4ths. Is there any software that allows me to set the dimensions of my dual monitor setup?

You should be able to move the monitors around relative to each other in the Windows display settings (the same place you change resolution and orientation).

I do that, but even though they're lined up like they are irl I still have this issue. I think it has to do with the OS not realizing that the one monitor is bigger than the other.

If they're different sizes but the same resolution, then things won't line up. Windows doesn't have a way of knowing monitor sizes, so it works based on resolutions.
