Using RDP from a locked PC

Long long ago, in windows xp days, I remember having an app that allowed using the windows remote desktop connection before logging in to any user on the host pc. 

Therefor, even if the pc you wanted to use was locked, you could just remote to a different workstation directly from the lock screen. 

Does anyone know about this amazing piece of software?

I know, but I wish to open it from the lock screen, without logging in to any user. 

it used to be called lockluncher, but I can't find it anywhere now..
