Alternative for RTX 3070/6800

41968lol

Alright, so I was planning on getting an RTX 3070/RX 6800. But the overpriced mess of the 3070 and the invisibility of the RX 6800 completely destroys that plan. Can anyone answer if the RTX 2070 Super is a bottleneck for 5800X (Ryzen 7) and suggest any GPU suiting it (preferably under $500) thanks! Also I will be playing at 1080p

I'd just wait, in a couple of months the 3070 and 6800 will probably be in stock again and you'd be able to get them for a reasonable price.

At 1080p unless you need insane framerates, a lower card will still give a great experience. Bottlenecks don't matter as long as you get the performance you need.

You’ll be fine.
Bottlenecks mean you are pushing well over 150 FPS in 1080p - and unless you are doing competition gaming you won’t notice the difference.
For most people and the specs you are talking about, you’ll be fine.
